Bury is a town to the north of Greater Manchester. Situated between Rochdale and Salford, Bury has a population of 60,718. During the Industrial Revolution, Bury emerged as a mill town centred on the manufacture of textile. Places of particular interest within Bury include the East Lancashire Railway, Bury’s ‘World Famous’ Market, the Regimental Museum and Peel Tower.
